I’ve been impressed with e.l.f. Cosmetics in the past. It’s some of the lowest priced makeup on the market, but the line consistently releases on-trend products. The e.l.f. Instant Lift Brow pencil is more of a “staple” product. Brow pencils are a go-to for me, whether I’m wearing lots of glamorous makeup or hardly any at all.
The e.l.f. Instant Lift Brow Pencil is great for a few reasons 1) the colors, while few, are very neutral/versatile. I especially find that the taupe shade is great for different shades of blonde hair. 2) the e.l.f. brow pencil is widely available, 3) it’s only $2, and 4) it actually works. I am a bit of a brow pencil connoisseur, and while the e.l.f. Instant Lift Brow Pencil doesn’t have the finest tip, it’s easy to blend through the brows with the spoolie. The formula is a little on the waxy side, which isn’t always my go-to (I often like more powdery-feeling brow pencils) but I really don’t mind it with the e.l.f. brow pencil.
Is the e.l.f. Instant Lift Brow pencil the best on the market? Probably not, but at $2 it is a great option for anybody on a budget or in a pinch. I would especially recommend this brow pencil to makeup beginners, because it’s easy to use (and hard to make a mistake). But I’m not a makeup beginner, and I reach for this brow pencil all the time, so I can say I seal the e.l.f. Instant Lift Brow Pencil with my stamp of approval.
