Red Eyeshadows for Fall and Winter

Red Eyeshadows for Fall and Winter

I love red eyeshadow year round; I’m convinced it’s always in-season. However, for the majority of the population, red eyeshadow season is somewhere between September and December. Though the season is well underway, it isn’t too late for me to mention a few of my favorite red shades. These are my favorite red eyeshadows for fall and winter.

“Red Ochre” from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette: This matte brick red is a little on the dry and powdery side, but the pigmentation and blend-ability are great. Plus the palette as a whole is gorgeous, one of my go-tos for sure.

“Enigma” by Melt Cosmetics: This eyeshadow can be purchased individually or as a part of the Dark Matter Stack. It’s a beautiful, rich red-brown (comparable to Red Ochre). I find that this eyeshadow has less fallout, and it is even creamier and gentler on my sensitive eyes. I love the color and formula, so it’s one of my favorite eyeshadows of all time.

Juvia’s Place “The Nubian” Palette: The shades in this palette don’t have names, but both of the red shimmery shades are gorgeous. They’re warm-toned, creamy, buttery, pigmented, and the things dreams are made of.

“Fetish” from the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Androgyny Palette: Jeffree Star’s eyeshadows are one of my favorite formulas, because they’re so soft and pigmented. They’re generally easy to work with, and the colors are always interesting and unique. This shade is similar to the other three, but the finish is unique. It’s somewhere between a matte and a shimmer– a subtle satin.
