An avowed concealer junkie (and L’Oreal fan) I had to try the Pro Glow concealer. I liked the Pro Glow foundation when I first tried it, but over time I realized that it was breaking me out a little bit. I sometimes have this problem […]
I love a good drugstore concealer. I tend to be a little heavy-handed with my concealer (both in terms of application and my never-ending desire to purchase just one more concealer) so a budget buy is something I love discovering. The Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer might be my favorite drugstore concealer to date.
I love the Maybelline Age Rewind, which is super creamy, but sometimes that one stings the sensitive skin around my eyes. The Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer is always comfortable on my skin, and it is just as creamy as the Maybelline concealer. I have the shade light ivory, which is perfect for my fair skin (especially because it caters to the pink tones in my skin, which I find many drugstore concealers don’t do). As far as concealers go, the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer checks all the boxes. It’s a solid medium coverage, so it’s great for any look. It also doesn’t crease much. I love how it makes my skin look, and I would highly recommend picking it up!

Tarte’s Shape Tape Concealer has blown up the internet over the past year, and first things first: I’m a believer. I use concealer almost every single day, but nothing compares to the Tarte Shape Tape for me. I have two colors in this concealer, one […]
I was introduced to Bare Minerals a little over a year ago, when I started using the bareSkin Serum foundation. That foundation was my first foundation-love, and I’m thinking about returning to it sometime soon. Because I loved that foundation, I also tried out the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer & bareSkin Concealer.
First of all, the Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer is the best tinted moisturizer I have ever used. It is so lightweight and moisturizing. It feels light on my skin, but it soaks up beautifully and looks natural, healthy, and bright. I wear it all the time with more natural looks, but if you use a full-coverage concealer and a setting powder it can be dressed up for a more dramatic look. I’m on my second tube, and I don’t plan on stopping!
The bareSkin concealer is a good product, but I probably won’t repurchase it. It’s a nice concealer, about medium coverage and lightweight. But for my blemishes and dark circles, I want something more intense. I prefer a sheer or medium base with a full coverage concealer. If I’m going for a lightweight concealer, I want it to be something I can slap on without worrying if it will crease (which might be a little bit of a fairytale, but I’m still holding out for one). This concealer does wear better if it is set. I would say this concealer is a B+ product- it does everything it’s supposed to do, but it doesn’t wow me.

A smooth, crease-free under-eye area is the makeup lover’s dream. I’m not sure that completely crease-free concealer beneath the eye is possible, but hey, we can always strive for perfection. A common technique to perfect & protect concealer for bright eyes all day long is […]
I’m a bit of a concealer hoarder, I’ll admit. Concealer is the backbone of every makeup look, whether I’m only wearing a little makeup or a lot. Concealer can be used to cover blemishes, dark circles, scars, discoloration, and even to highlight. Here are the pros […]
