Usually my blog posts are makeup-oriented (though I occasionally delve into skincare). But today I wanted to talk about my current bath & body obsession, which is a Harry’s razor and shave cream. In the past few weeks, I’ve used these products and a few […]
If there’s one thing my mom taught me, it’s to take care of my skin. I’m not the kind of girl who falls asleep with her makeup on– not once, not ever. I wash my skin religiously, moisturize, and apply SPF every day. However, that […]
I ordered the Acne Facial Cleanser and Special Cucumber Lotion from Ulta a few months ago. The more I use these products, the more I love them. It is worth noting that the Special Cucumber Lotion is not really a lotion. It is a toner that seems to soak up any impurities leftover in my skin. This is hands down my favorite toner, because it dries my skin just enough to get rid of dirt and oils, but it doesn’t dry my skin out so much that it peels. This electric-green toner is refreshing and effective. The Acne Facial Cleanser on its own is one of the gentlest acne washes I have ever used. I like this cleanser for the same reasons that I like the Cucumber Lotion. The Acne Facial Cleanser helps prevent breakouts without drying my skin out too much. These two products are a perfect pair for acne prone skin that isn’t excessively oily.
I recently purchased the Ceramide Herbal Eye Cream. This is my first eye cream, so I don’t have much to compare it to. It helps a bit with my undereye circles, though I admit I wish it helped a little more. I can’t say how it deals with fine lines (I don’t have many of those), but it is very moisturizing and comfortable.
I see myself repurchasing the Acne Facial Cleanser, the Special Cucumber Lotion, and the Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater. I will probably try a few other eye creams for comparison, to see if I can find one that helps with my dark circles and puffy early-morning eyes a little more. Overall, Mario Badescu is a great brand and I have been very impressed.
