Fish love the water, birds love the sky, and I love pink. Some things just come naturally. Everybody who knows me knows that this is an undeniable fact. I liked millennial pink back when it was just called “pink,” and once I sported a fuchsia […]
This highlighter is a mini-miracle. Admittedly, at nearly $40 the price tag is hefty. $40 can buy you a lot in the highlighter world (basically a lifetime supply of e.l.f. baked highlights, or an Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit). And while I wouldn’t say I […]
This look was inspired by the NYX Cosmetics Duochromatic highlighter in “Twilight Tint” and Away We Glow highlighter in Moon Glow. I also used the Becca Cosmetics highlight in Pressed Pearl and MAC lipstick in Cyber. My eyeshadow is Morphe 35K and the powder highlights mentioned above!
Highlighters are my favorite part of any makeup look, and I actually feel a little bit naked if I forget to wear a highlighter. I don’t know how I ever lived without highlight! I think that the super-glowy cheekbones will be something my children see […]

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit appeared on the market recently, accompanied by an avalanche of hype on social media. Instagram has been blowing up with photos of beautifully strobed artists and models, all boasting a look powered by the ABH Glow Kit. The kits comes in two colors, “Gleam” and “Glow,” which I presume are made to suit different skin tones. I opted for “Gleam,” because I have strong pink undertones and fair skin. This kit includes four pans of different colors for $40 (which, as one of the girls who helped me at Sephora pointed out, is a really great deal compared with other popular highlighters like the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector). The formula is smooth and buttery, and it glides right onto my face. I like the variety of colors within the kit, because I can use them for different aspects of my routine — the color “Hard Candy” is a shimmering pink, that I like to add on top of a matte blush to add a summer sparkle. Sunburst and Crushed Pearl both make great cheekbone highlights, and I like to use Mimosa to spice up my bronzer. I love highlighters, and the ABH Glow Kit definitely lived up to my expectations. Did you purchase the Glow Kit? Tell me what you think! Leave your comments down below.
